Hitting an unidentified floating objet in the middle of a dark night halfway between Tahiti and Noumea, luckily, no damages were done to the boat

What do you most enjoy about sailing:

Waking up in a different anchorage every morning and thinking about where the wind will blow us next.

Scariest sailing story:

Snapping our forestay on our way back from Noumea to Syd at Day 2 of the passage. Ending up changing our route to South Port in the Gold Coast to stay downwind and finish the trip with the mast up! Mission accomplished!

dropping anchor in a remote atoll and enjoying a glass while swinging in a hammock on deck.

Scariest sailing story:

having to do an emergency tack in a force 10 storm when on a collision course with a container ship that refused to give way. Power gives way to sail out at sea!
